Kia Ora, Since today, is Wednesday and we have tech in the afternoon we are doing some more french tasks. This animation was actually made a couple weeks ago but I sadly didn't have enough time to post it. I used the same characters from my other french animation and made this new one with my friend Sophie. We were in a bit of a rush when we created this so it is not our best work. This is also not yet done but is a work in progress for the next couple of weeks. I hope you have some fun having a look at this french animation. If you spot anything that I could change in this post please send me a comment. Thanks, BYE:)
Kia ora, I am a student at Marshland School, Welcome - Haere Mai. This is a place where I will be able to share my learning with you. Please note my work may include spelling or other errors because some of it will be my first drafts. I would like to get your feedback - comments, thoughts, questions and ideas to help me Learn Create Share.

Charlie And The chocolate Factory
Kia Ora everyone, I hope everyone is not getting to bored in lockdown and enjoying the sun. For Literacy on Tuesday we were looking into themes from a movie, book, video game or a musical. Once you had chosen what you where going to do your theme on, we had to make a canva on it and say what was the theme behind your movie. I decided to do Charlie and the chocolate factory because that movie is very popular. In my canva I explained the main charactors and the meaning behind all the charactors which is apart of the theme. I have made this presantation on canva and them added the screen shots of my canva onto a slide. I hope we will be back to in person school soon. How have you been finding online school? Bye :)

Minecraft Waterways
Hey Bloggers, For the past couple of days me and my friend Sophie have been working on a mincraft world about waterways. We had to create a mincraft world with a town for people to live in and a water way coming down a mountain and into the Waimak. Instead of Sophie and I making a town for people to live in we found a village and made a school and homes for people. We also made a cloud for rain water to flow down our mountain. Me and Sophie had a blast making this in minecraft. Bye

SUPER STEAM!
Kia Ora Bloggers, Since today is wednesday and we have tech in the afternoon we did some Steam Steam stands for science, technology, engineering, arts and maths and today we had to make a little table that would hold at least one text book. We had to get into a group of 5 and plan out our design. We could only use 10 pieces of newspaper and 1 metre of tape. Our group were going to roll up 6 pieces of the newspaper and then tape them to another piece of newpaper. and then put the rest of the newspaper on top of the legs. but that didnt really go to plan because we ran out of tape. We were already up the front to present so we had to think of something new quickly. We grabed to of the legs and put then inside of eachother. That worked! we managed to get 1 book on. Bye Bloggers

Maths Baking
Hey Bloggers, How are you? On Tuesday me and 4 of my friends baked for maths. We baked Rice Crispy Treats we started by getting some butter and putting it into a hot pot. Then we melted some marshmellows in that pot. Once they were melted we added in rice bubble cerial. After all of that was mixed in we transfered the rice crispy into a bowl and added food dye. the food Dye didnt work very well. So we used the rice crispy that didnt have food dye. We shaped the rice crispy into little balls and then placed them into a tray. We let them cool down while we cleaned up. Then we tryed them but they werent very good. Have you ever made rice crispy treats? Bye Bloggers!

Magic Matariki Art
Kia Ora Bloggers,
As you may know Matariki is almost here which represents Maori new year. Matariki is on the 20th of June this year. Since Matariki is so close we have been working on making some art. To make this art we started by drawing a plan on a piece of A4 paper we actually had to draw our plan the opposite way around because at the end when we print it it would come out the right way. After we had done that we would get that checked by a teacher and grab a piece of A4 foam. we would copy our design onto the piece of foam in order to see our design with the print at the end we had to draw on the foam with a pen and push a little hard so that it would make a dent. After that we would put different colour print (print is like paint) and we would roll that print on with a paint roller. Once we had done that we would grab a piece of A3 paper a press the foam onto that. We had to then let our piece of A3 paper dry for about a week. Now today we had to cut out a square that would fit our art around it. This is my finished product and it took around three weeks to finish. I hope you have had a good time looking at my art. If you have any questions about my art please ask me in the comments. What are you planning on doing for Matariki. Byee

Egg Experiment
Hey Bloggers, Today we did some Experiments with an egg. I was in a group with Alexi, Sophie, Abby, Daisy and I. Our teacher had only given us 3 pieces of A4 paper, 1 piece of A5 paper, 1 meter of string, 2 peices of long tape and a plastic bag. We had to find a way to protect our egg because we were going to drop it from a 3 meter loft. First we rapped our egg in our paper and then we put it in our plastic bag. After that the put tape all over the plastic bag, paper and egg. then we tyed the string over the bag and egg. Sadly our egg did not survive the fall. How do you like your eggs? Tell me in the comments. Bye!

My Lego person
Hi bloggers, A couple of days ago we started making lego people. I started with the hair. Since we had to make the lego people look like us I did the hair brown because I have brown hair. Then I did the face and shoes. Have you ever done a lego person? bye!
All about me

For my first page I gathered some photos of things that I like to do and things that I like. I put them all onto my front page and then wrote my name next to them. Then I moved onto my second page, I put down My favourite things and then next to it I put all about me. I had a blast doing this with all of my friends and getting to write about all the things I love. Whats your favourite thing to do? Tell me in the comments. Byee
